Latest innovations for medical technology
IMSTec took part in the MD&M West trade fair in Anaheim again this year, for the first time at the German Pavilion. Organized by Nürnberg Messe on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economics, our colleagues were represented at the pavilion together with other German companies.
Many of our long-term customers took the opportunity to discuss cooperation and new project approaches in person. However, MD&M West also offers an exchange with added value for new contacts every year. Our colleagues discussed new developments in the field of medical technology, such as the fully automated production of drug implants. These are used in ophthalmology and represent a novel solution for patients. The active ingredients are injected into the patient in a precise area and released over a specific period of time.
IMSTec has already successfully developed and built a production line here for its customer. Within the fully automated plant, every process step is controlled and complies with strict GMP guidelines.
