High-quality automation technology
Each system developed by IMSTec contains at least one component from the diverse Festo portfolio. In an informative training course, our colleagues were able to deepen their knowledge of the products.
Every system developed by IMSTec contains at least one component from Festo. This makes the manufacturer of automation technology an important and reliable supplier that supports IMSTec's plant engineering with electrical, but also pneumatic automation technology and process automation.
Drive controllers, grippers, motion terminals, valves, valve terminals and sensors are just a few of the components used in our systems.
With such a comprehensive portfolio, an on-site presentation of the products and the latest technologies is necessary to inform long-standing colleagues about the latest technology. However, new colleagues also receive an overview of our supplier's range of products and services as quickly as possible and can apply their expertise to our customers on site.
In an informative training by Festo, our colleagues from the Electrical Design, Electrical and Mechanical Assembly department, were able to deepen their knowledge on the topics of fastening technology, LifeTech Automation, factory automation and machine safety.
During a practical exercise based on a given pneumatic circuit diagram, a test project was successfully reconstructed. The functionalities of individual sensors were closely examined and various solutions were found. Problems can also be discussed: The installation and design of safety valves or connecting valves is particularly challenging.
In case of a special T-piece, the pressure is automatically reduced by 10%. Since this has a direct impact on the efficiency and energy balance of the systems, a correct product selection is crucial. For the correct design and optimal dimensioning of the products, the new digital engineering tool "Quick Search Plus" supports our colleagues on a daily basis:
"The software navigates quickly and easily through Festo's product world. This relieves us enormously in planning and developing of tailor-made automation solutions for our customers."
Thanks to Festo, especially Günter Jäger and Ralf Hofmann, for your visit.
